Women’s Walk 96 will be taking place November 10-13, 2011 at Camp Boothe in Bibb County.

Sherry VanHorn will be lay director.

Glen Raley will be spiritual director.

Team Meetings will be held at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Gardendale Al.

We will assemble in the fellowship hall to begin meetings.

Directions to Good Shepherd are as follows:

From I-65 Northbound – take the Mt Olive Road exit (#272).

Bear right onto Mt. Olive Blvd. Proceed to Decatur Highway (US Hwy.31).

Turn left (The Mormon church will be on your left).

Proceed north on Hwy 31 approx. .5miles to Good Shepherd.

Church is on the left side of road.

From I-65 Southbound, you will turn left when you come off the interstate, and follow same directions as above.

Living Waters Report Fall 2011

Men’s Walk 95 will be taking place September 8-11, 2011 at Camp Boothe in Bibb County. Pat Richards will be lay director and Butch Cousins will be spiritual director.

Sponsors Hour will start at 7:00 pm on Thursday September 8, 2011 in the Dining Hall. All Pilgrims will need to arrive by 6:30 pm.

Candlelight will be Saturday September 10, 2011 at 8:00 pm in the Main Chapel.

Closing will be Sunday September 11, 2011 at 4:00 pm in the Dining Hall.

We have approx 13 pilgrims for this walk. Please start praying now for the pilgrims and team.

Please bring agape for the walk. We will need 48pcs for Conference room and Meals. 24-36pcs for Bunks.

Girl’s Flight 10 took place on March 18-20,2011 at Camp Boothe in Bibb County.

We currently have 14 potential caterpillars for the upcoming flight.

We need Agape is for the flight.

36 pcs for bunks. Chrysalis team is caterpillar and butterfly.
Please also bring individually wrapped candy.

Living Waters Community will host a Christmas Gathering and dinner on Saturday, December 11, 2010 at Lime Springs United Methodist Church in Clanton. This event is open to all Emmaus and non-Emmaus members. Please invite friends and family. We will start gathering at approx 5:30 pm for a time of fellowship and music. We will sing a medley of Christmas and traditional Emmaus songs. Holy Communion will be shared. Dinner will begin at approx 6:30 pm. The meal will be potluck. Please bring an entrée, dessert, and soft drinks with you. All the dinnerware will be provided. Following dinner we will circle up for special prayer time and closing.

Mid Year Gathering 2010

Living Waters Community will be hosting an Ice Cream Social / Mid Year Gathering this July.
We will be meeting at Oakmont Presbyterian Church at 6:30 pm on July 24, 2010.
Please bring your favorite ice cream/dessert with you. There will be singing and fellowship.
We will celebrate Holy Communion as well.
This event is open to everyone.
Now is the time to invite those friends and family members that you want to introduce to Emmaus/Chrysalis.
