The TEAM meetings will take place at:

Alabaster 1st United Methodist Church on the following dates:
August 8, 2009 8:30 am til 1:30 pm
August 15, 2009 8:30 am til 1:30 pm
August 22, 2009 8:30 am til 1:30 pm
August 29, 2009 8:30 am til 1:30 pm

These meetings will include Conference Room and Support Team.

Please bring breakfast foods, snacks, soft drinks to the meetings.

There will be a potluck lunch Holy Communion and Commissioning Service on August 29th.

Walk 89 is in need of AGAPE.

Please bring 48 pieces for table agape and 36 pieces for beds.
We are also in need of assorted hard candy and chocolate candy. (individually wrapped).

Applications are available on the website www.livingwatersofal.org and will be available at ALL of the Team Meetings.
Please get your applications in early because we anticipate that this walk will fill quickly!

If you have not updated your Interest Sheet this year, please do so and mail it in.
Interest Sheets can be found on the website as well.

All Emmaus members are encouraged to attend the Team meetings!

This event is open to everyone.

Living Waters Community will be hosting a Christmas Gathering on Friday December 12th, 2008 at Rolling Hills Conference Center in Calera. The Gathering is open to everyone. This includes friends and family that have not been on an Emmaus Walk before. The Community will start gathering around 6:00 pm for a time of fellowship. We will eat dinner at approx 6:45 pm. The meal will be potluck. Please bring an entrée, dessert, and soft drinks with you. All the dinnerware will be provided. This will be a special time of reunion, worship, and fellowship. This will be the last gathering at Rolling Hills. The Living Waters Emmaus Board has decided after many months of prayer and research to re-locate the Walks/Flights to Camp Boothe in Bibb County. There are many reasons why this new location has been chosen and more will be explained at the Gathering.

We will have a special Christmas Peace Tree set up this year as well. There will be a special ornament for you to take home with you.

Holy Communion will be celebrated.

Come enjoy the music, and fellowship. We will sing Christmas classics as well as Emmaus favorites.

The new camp does not provide any of the bed linens, towels, toiletries. Sponsors and Pilgrims will be instructed to bring these items. The offering that we collect at the gathering will be used to purchase these items to be used as spares in the event that they are needed. If you’d rather, please consider donating any of the following items for use during our weekends. All of this will be needed for the upcoming girl’s flight in January 2009, as well as the upcoming walks in the spring.
