Dear Living Waters Emmaus Community,
These are exciting times for us as Christians. This is a golden opportunity to serve God as he sends his children to attend a walk to Emmaus. As these uncertain times cause fear and confusion all around us we as children of God have confidence in a risen Savior who foretold of these things and all we have to do is remain faithful and the end result will be glorious. Let’s take this opportunity to prepare through prayer, training and educating ourselves to be good sponsors, good team members, and good supporters of the Living Waters Emmaus movement. When you decide to sponsor a pilgrim, pray for that person, review your sponsors guide and pray some more. When you are asked to be on a team, pray about it and make sure you can commit to the training sessions and all that is involved in serving up through the Follow Up. If you haven’t worked on a walk in awhile or never returned to serve then you should prayerfully consider reconnecting and you will be amazed at how our Lord will bless you and the pilgrims you serve. Remember, it takes a lot of people to make a walk successful. Don’t forget that the community needs you and your continued financial support as we try to hold down cost and keep the scholarship fund available. May all that we do be done to the glory of God and our savior Jesus Christ.
